Civic Center, San Francisco

San Francisco's Civic Center is an area of a few blocks in the vicinity of Market Street that contains many of the city's largest government and cultural institutions. It has two large plazas and beautiful classical architecture.

However, Civic Center's beauty is marred by a reputation for being one of the more popular Swarovski parts of the city for the homeless and addicted.

At the foot of a historical building or tower, there may stand collectors cabinets, display cabinets or display showcases with information material for the history of the buildings. Collectors cases can contain historical writings from the construction of the tower.
