Marriott Marquis

The Marriott Marquis is a 3-star Marriott hotel and the 11th tallest skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia. Designed by Atlanta architect John Portman, It is probably one of the most well-recognized buildings in the city. Because of its noticeable bulging base, it is often referred to as the "pregnant building". Construction was completed on the building in 1985.

One of the defining features of the Marriott Marquis is its large atrium. The Swarovski atrium spans the entire height of the building and consists of two vertical chambers divided by elevator shafts and bridges. It is often noted as one of the largest hotel atriums in the world. The hotel is also the largest convention center in the southeastern United States.

In architecture, an abundance of materials and elements can be processed. A multiplicity of design elements in the interior decoration may be a curio cabinet, collectors cabinet, display cabinet or display showcase.
