Martin D'Arcy Museum of Art

The Martin D'Arcy Museum of Art is located in the north Chicago Rogers Park neighborhood on the campus of Loyola University Chicago.

Martin D'Arcy Museum of Art is an art gallery and museum in the City of Chicago in Illinois. It is the only museum in Chicago that focuses on Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque art with pieces in the collection ranging in date from 1150 to 1750. It is located in Chicago's premier Catholic institution of higher learning, Loyola University Chicago in Rogers Park.

With the Design of a collectors case, curio cabinet, collectors cabinet or display showcase no borders are set to the shaping: A glass showcase in box-, pyramid or cylinder form with shining glass areas would be possible.

Established in 1969 by Father Donald Rowe, SJ, a Jesuit priest, the collection began with a single painting called The Madonna and Child by Giovanni Bellini. Over the course of several Swarovski generations, the Martin D'Arcy Museum of Art grew. The art gallery and museum is named after British humanist and Jesuit theologian Father Martin D'Arcy, SJ. He was responsible for the famous art collection of Campion Hall at Oxford University in England.
